Holland Charter Fishing in 2018 has started off with a bang!
Both boats are in the water and catching fish! We are incredibly excited for this upcoming season.
Holland now has 40,000 king salmon fingerlings in our net pen. These fish are kept until they smolt, to imprint their “home.” After 4 years these fish will return to Holland to spawn. This is very exciting as this is a significant uptick versus years past!
Our first charters were at the end of April, and fishing was stellar! Lake trout were chewing on spoons and yakima spin n glo’s. As the water began to warm, coho fishing was absolutely stellar. They were biting on silverstreak ministreaks and thin fins.
